Kobolds are short lizardlikes with long tails and prominent snouts. This species was created for the purpose of serving their dragon masters. Their adaptiveness and quick breeding have made them a common sight in most of the world, even where there are no dragons. Most Kobolds feel a desperate urge to serve an exalted master. Kobolds are communal creatures, doing relatively well in modern society, despite their strong feral instincts. They tend to form polyamoric groups, whose members they protect and mate with, regardless of gender. Often the members of these groups serve the same master.

• Gender distribution: 45% male / 45% female / 10% intersex. Gender changes are possible during adulthood (brought on by mating pressure), a small number of kobolds are born with wings
